Egg Zeppelin is the brainchild of two music-loving performers with 30 collective years of experience working in Canada’s comedy, television and stage worlds.

Marcel St. Pierre is a Toronto-based organism of New Brunswick Acadian origin. An alumnus of The Second City National Touring Company and the Canadian Comedy Award-winning improvised talk show Monkey Toast; he is a founding member and former Artistic Director of The Bad Dog Theatre Company.

A 2-time BDA Award-winner for writing and producing, Marcel has worked as a writer/producer for YTV, Corus Entertainment, The Comedy Network, Nelvana and many others. In 2003 he produced Shortweird Radio’, a critically acclaimed independent sketch comedy CD that featured a cast of 12 notable Toronto writer/performers, including Nile Seguin, Jessica Holmes, Kerry Griffin, and many others.

He was an Associate Producer, writer, and recurring character on CBC Television’s Gemini Award-winning The Morgan Waters Show (Best Youth Program, 2007) and a writer for The Juno Awards, The Gemini Awards and a pilot for CBC Radio entitled The Backroom. More on Marce at http://www.shortweird.com

He has also written for and hosted YTV as The Unlucky Caveman and as a host for the Saturday morning show CRUNCH!

An avid lover of all things musical, Kris was the co-creator of Dreadwood, the serialized improvised tale of the gold rush in 1890’s Canada, and the improvised sci-fi comedy spoof Battleawesome Awesomestar.
